The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterwhacker is looking to score with low kicks.
A slow jab from Gracie misses its intended target.
Peterwhacker throws the kick towards the body but Gracie avoids it.
Peterwhacker throws a big shot that misses.
Peterwhacker uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gracie.
Gracie misses with a straight right.
Gracie tries to clinch but Peterwhacker is having none of it.
A jab from Gracie misses.
Gracie blocks a leg kick.
Peterwhacker ducks under a wild hook from Gracie.
Gracie avoids the head kick by Peterwhacker.
Gracie avoids the body shot from Peterwhacker.
Gracie walks forward, straight into a front kick from Peterwhacker.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Peterwhacker defends it nicely.
Gracie blocks the body kick.
Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Peterwhacker.
No joy there for Peterwhacker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gracie is looking to chop away at Peterwhacker's legs.
Gracie lands a glancing blow to the side of Peterwhacker's head.

Peterwhacker darts in and clinches Gracie up against the cage.
Peterwhacker scores a nice knee to the body.

Peterwhacker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gracie's waist but Gracie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Peterwhacker off to one side.
A bone on bone clash there as Gracie blocks the leg kick.
Gracie avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Michael Peterwhacker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peterwhacker looks to land a combination. Gracie sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Peterwhacker throws a combination that misses
and Gracie makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Gracie connects with the punch.

Peterwhacker lands a big head kick that sends Gracie tumbling to the mat! Peterwhacker takes a step backwards and waves Gracie back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Gracie is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Peterwhacker to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Peterwhacker shrugs it off.
Gracie trying to control but Peterwhacker is having none of it.

Gracie goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Peterwhacker turns into him and now he's in Gracie's guard.
Gracie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peterwhacker cracks Gracie with a solid left hand.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Peterwhacker defends it easily.
Peterwhacker scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's time! Peterwhacker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Peterwhacker misses with a series of wild punches.
Peterwhacker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gracie throws a hook but Peterwhacker avoids it easily.

Peterwhacker throws a nice looking combination but Gracie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gracie blocks a jab.
Peterwhacker is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Gracie's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
A combination from Peterwhacker does no damage.
The fighters circling - Gracie throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Peterwhacker here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Gracie bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Peterwhacker's head backwards.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gracie is working for takedown but Peterwhacker is calmly controlling the position for now.

Peterwhacker lands a body punch.
Gracie blocking some punches.

Peterwhacker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Peterwhacker throws a jab but it's blocked by Gracie.
Peterwhacker tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Peterwhacker is looking to clinch but Gracie is avoiding it.

Peterwhacker throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gracie counters with a nice uppercut.
Peterwhacker throws a hook but Gracie blocks it.
Peterwhacker misses with a double jab
and Gracie counters with a solid body kick.

A bone on bone clash there as Gracie blocks the leg kick.
Gracie is looking to clinch.
Michael Peterwhacker is winning the standup battle so far.

Peterwhacker throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Peterwhacker is in Gracie's guard.

Gracie working for a triangle but Peterwhacker defends it easily.
Peterwhacker lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Peterwhacker lands a couple of elbows.

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Peterwhacker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Peterwhacker passes easily into side control. Nice work.

The ground and pound from Peterwhacker seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Gracie is looking for a sweep.
Peterwhacker lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Gracie gets back to half guard.
Gracie is in trouble now - Peterwhacker has advanced to mount!
Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
BOOM! Peterwhacker connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Gracie slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Michael Peterwhacker dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Chuck Gracie's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Peterwhacker throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.
Peterwhacker throws a leg kick but Gracie sees it coming and moves out of range.
Gracie is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Peterwhacker.
Peterwhacker takes one to the side of the head.
Peterwhacker misses with a kick to the body.
Gracie fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Gracie takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Peterwhacker scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gracie steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Peterwhacker. That one must have hurt.

Peterwhacker cracks Gracie with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Peterwhacker has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gracie to stand back up!


Gracie is rocked!
Peterwhacker connects with a body shot that sends Gracie's belly button to the back.
Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can Peterwhacker finish him?
Peterwhacker is stalking Gracie. Gracie circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Peterwhacker, and it's lights out! Gracie really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
