Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jose Melendo!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delanoesh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Melendo was well out of range. Poor timing from Delanoesh.
Delanoesh throws an off balance right hand
and Melendo counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Delanoesh is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Melendo avoids a kick to the body.
Qos Delanoesh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Melendo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Melendo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Delanoesh swivels and escapes.
A clash of legs there as Melendo blocks the low kick.
Melendo defending well as Delanoesh loads up on a big left hand.
A telegraphed right hand from Delanoesh misses the target.
Melendo fails with a takedown attempt.
Qos Delanoesh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Melendo.

Delanoesh throws a leg kick but Melendo checks it.

Delanoesh turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Melendo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Delanoesh avoids it really well and circles away.

Delanoesh swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Delanoesh changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Delanoesh turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Delanoesh.
Delanoesh dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Melendo. That did some damage!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Delanoesh.
Delanoesh lands a really nice looking cross but Melendo seems unphased.
Melendo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A swing and a miss from Delanoesh.
Delanoesh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Melendo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Delanoesh - that will leave a mark!

Delanoesh works over Melendo's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Jose Melendo has been cut.
Delanoesh scores with a leg kick.
Melendo looks gassed!
Delanoesh lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Delanoesh throws a sloppy head kick and Melendo moves out of range easily.
Delanoesh lands a big head kick that sends Melendo tumbling to the mat! Delanoesh takes a step backwards and waves Melendo back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Melendo is rocked!
Delanoesh lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Melendo is still on wobbly legs! Can Delanoesh finish him?
Delanoesh connects with a stiff jab that staggers Melendo - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Qos Delanoesh!
