Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Degen Gambler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Crassus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Crassus's choice of entrance music: Rome. Marcus Crassus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crassus connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gambler's hands.
Crassus lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Crassus shoots in and drives through. Gambler sprawls well.
Crassus fakes the leg kick and cracks Gambler in the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Marcus Crassus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crassus lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Gambler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Crassus shoots for a double leg takedown but Gambler sprawls well. He's pushed Crassus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Some bone on bone action there as Gambler checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Crassus fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gambler has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Crassus lands a lovely overhand right.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Crassus. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crassus can't do much from the bottom here.

Gambler will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Crassus is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Gambler frees his head nicely. Oh but Crassus has switched to an armbar! Gambler is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
