Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Moroboshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenord Lengal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Moroboshi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lenord Lengal!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lengal shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Moroboshi sprawls well. Moroboshi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lengal gets slowly back to his feet.
Lengal looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Lengal is looking to clinch.

Lengal gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Moroboshi to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Moroboshi drops back looking for a leg! Lengal is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lengal manages to kick Moroboshi off! Moroboshi jumps back into Lengal's guard.

Moroboshi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lengal does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Moroboshi is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lengal is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's time! Moroboshi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Lengal is trying hard to land a takedown here. Moroboshi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Moroboshi looks up at the clock and then as Lengal takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Moroboshi smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Lengal is not content to let Moroboshi control the position.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Moroboshi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lengal keeps working.
Moroboshi creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lengal sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Moroboshi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lengal, who protects the arm well.

Moroboshi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Moroboshi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Moroboshi wants to control but Lengal is keeping him busy.

Moroboshi goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Lengal has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Moroboshi but great work by Lengal.
Moroboshi tries to improve position but can't.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lengal stands up.
Dan Moroboshi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Moroboshi shoots for a double leg takedown but Lengal sprawls well. He's pushed Moroboshi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Moroboshi is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lengal's half guard.
Dan Moroboshi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Moroboshi is trying to control the action in half guard but Lengal is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lengal is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lengal is trying to stand up here but Moroboshi is controlling him well.
Lengal is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Moroboshi is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Lengal is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
