Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ty Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benton Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Styles has chosen Rocky Remix as his entrance music. Ty Angle has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Angle shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Angle showed some decent athleticism there.
Styles is looking to improve his position.

Angle is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Styles defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Angle seems to be looking for submissions.
Styles is refusing to be controlled, as Angle sits in half guard.

Angle stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Styles.
Styles keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Styles dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Styles throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Styles cracks Angle with an open hand slap.
Styles fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Styles connects with a leg kick. Angle looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Angle takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Styles paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ty Angle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Styles keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Styles is looking to chop away at Angle's legs.

Angle fails with a takedown attempt.

Styles stands up from Angle's guard - Styles perhaps looking for a knockout.
Styles throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Angle shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Styles defends it nicely.
Jab, jab by Styles - just one landing.
Angle walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Angle drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sloppy strikes there by Angle.
Styles is looking for a sweep.

Angle is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Styles looks calm but he's in trouble here. Angle gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Styles is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Angle lets go of the hold and Styles can pop his arm back in it's socket.
