Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dante Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Kheen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kheen shoots in for a takedown but Lopez shows good takedown defense.

Lopez looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lopez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Kheen has one foot on Lopez's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
A head kick misses from Lopez.
Kheen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kheen avoids a punch combination nicely.

Lopez closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kheen did well to prevent Lopez getting side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kheen is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Dante Lopez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kheen tries to bum rush Lopez with a series of wild strikes but Lopez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kheen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Kheen tries to free his leg and advance position but Lopez is retaining full guard.
Kheen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Lopez wants to stand and escape but Kheen is having none of it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bobby Kheen hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
No luck for Kheen with that takedown attempt.
Kheen shoots in looking for a takedown. Lopez tries to sprawl out of it but Kheen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lopez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dante Lopez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Kheen.

Lopez has hold of one of Kheen's legs. Kheen is fighting the takedown attempt but Lopez gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Lopez throws an elbow that misses. Kheen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lopez's guard. Nice move by Kheen!

Lopez takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lopez on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lopez tries to get out of the position.
Kheen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lopez is looking to escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Bobby Kheen will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kheen shoots in but Lopez avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Lopez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lopez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Lopez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kheen napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Kheen tries to close the distance and clinch but Lopez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kheen cracks Lopez with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Bobby Kheen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Lopez moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kheen looks for a takedown but Lopez sprawls well.
Kheen fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lopez checks it well.
Horrible takedown by Lopez or perhaps it was just good defense by Kheen which made him look bad.

Lopez moves in looking to clinch but Kheen pushes him off.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lopez shoots in and drives through. Kheen sprawls well.

Lopez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kheen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kheen showed some decent athleticism there.
Kheen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kheen's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bobby Kheen wasn't active enough on the ground.
Kheen walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lopez checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Kheen lands with an uppercut that bounces Lopez off the cage and back into range.

Kheen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kheen lands in his opponent's guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Dante Lopez wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Kheen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bobby Kheen was stalling too much, according to the referee.
