The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dama has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dama ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dama no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
McSubberton passes Dama's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
McSubberton seems to be looking for submissions.

Dama closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dama is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

McSubberton is cranking Dama's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Dama! He's tightened the choke and Dama is tapping out!
