The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coenen scores with a takedown into Megalopolis's guard.
Coenen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Megalopolis is keeping the position for now.
Megalopolis can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Coenen controls the pace.
Coenen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Coenen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Coenen decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Megalopolis, up you get!

Coenen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Megalopolis to the ground. Coenen is now in Megalopolis's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Coenen gets to his feet. Megalopolis looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Megalopolis goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Megalopolis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Coenen avoids it really well and circles away.
Coenen throws a combination. Megalopolis tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Coenen fails with a takedown attempt.
Megalopolis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Coenen circles away quickly and effectively.
Megalopolis throws a low kick but Coenen moves out of range easily.
No joy there for Megalopolis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Megalopolis counters with a crisp one two that drops Coenen! Megalopolis thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Coenen to his feet! Coenen is in big trouble!

Megalopolis fakes the body blow, causing Coenen to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Coenen goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
