Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gorilla Gorilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Tataglia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gorilla Gorilla has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gorilla Gorilla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tommy Tataglia!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorilla misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gorilla just misses with a punch to the body.

Tataglia darts in and clinches Gorilla up against the cage.

Tataglia successfully pulls guard.
Gorilla wants to stand but Tataglia is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tataglia pushes Gorilla off and scrambles back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gorilla lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tataglia circles away quickly and effectively.
Tataglia tries to clinch but Gorilla moves out of range.
Tataglia fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gorilla avoids it really well and circles away.
No joy there for Gorilla, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tataglia misses with a takedown attempt
enabling Gorilla to counter with a crisp jab.
Gorilla Gorilla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tataglia shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gorilla as he avoids it easily.
Gorilla Gorilla has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Tataglia.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tataglia is defended easily by Gorilla.

Gorilla closes the distance and clinches.
Gorilla lands a body punch in the clinch.

Gorilla pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tataglia wants to stand but Gorilla is controlling his arm.

Tataglia goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Gorilla rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Tataglia's guard! Nice work there by Gorilla!

Gorilla tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tataglia manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Gorilla drops Tataglia with a beautiful combination! Tataglia stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gorilla is looking for the KO!

Tataglia is rocked!

It looks like Tommy Tataglia has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gorilla throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tataglia.
Tataglia is still on wobbly legs! Can Gorilla finish him?
Gorilla will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tataglia shoots for a double leg takedown but Gorilla sprawls well. He's pushed Tataglia's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gorilla is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Tataglia flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Tataglia is out cold! Gorilla holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
