The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adam tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Newson was well out of range. Poor timing from Adam.
Newson throws a lazy right hand but Adam sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
An inside leg kick lands from Newson.
Adam rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Newson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Adam lands a nice shot to the body.
Newson avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Newson throws out a leg kick but Adam moves out of range and Newson only half commits.
Adam tries to land a front kick but Newson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
