Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heavy Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Bent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Heavy Storm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Bent!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Storm gets a double leg takedown into Bent's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Storm scoring with some ground and pound.
Bent preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Storm wants to pass the guard but Bent is keeping the position.
Storm postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Storm makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Storm trying to control the position from guard on top but Bent is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bent keeping full guard, as Storm tries to pass.
Bent avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Storm throws a big right hand that misses.

Storm throwing strikes from guard but Bent blocks nicely.
Storm scoring with punches to the head and body.
Bent preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Storm throws an elbow that misses. Bent uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Storm's guard. Nice move by Bent!

Storm looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bent passes into side control.
Storm throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Bent wants to lay and pray for a moment but Storm keeps working.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bent moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Storm tries to buck Bent off but Bent is having none of it.
Storm regains half guard.
Storm tries to roll over but Bent keeps him under control.
Bent is controlling the pace.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Storm wants to improve his position but Bent is controlling well.

Storm is trying to maintain the position but Bent is very close to passing his half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Storm is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bent pulls his head out easily.
Storm tries to roll over but Bent keeps him under control.
Bent is trying to control. Storm wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bent wants to control the pace but Storm is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Bent takes the fight into the clinch.

Bent pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bent ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Storm moves away.
Bent connects with a right hand. Storm shakes it off.


It looks like Heavy Storm has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bent. Storm does a little dance to reset his feet.

Storm closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Storm lands in his opponent's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Storm throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bent works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Storm slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Storm throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Storm accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Storm in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Bent is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bent utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Storm postures up.

Storm working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Storm with a flurry of punches that miss.
Bent wants to stand but Storm is controlling the position.

Storm drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bent manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Storm has Bent in his guard.

Storm manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bent holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Storm tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Bent looks out of his depth in this position - he's holding on tight.
Bent tries to hold on but Storm pushes him away.
Heavy Storm overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Storm in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Storm throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Poor strikes thrown by Storm there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Storm misses with some ground and pound and Bent recovers position to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Storm is trying to control. Bent wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Storm is looking to pass Bent's guard but actually Bent recovers to full guard.
Bent looking to control.
Bent keeping moving, preventing Storm from controlling successfully.
Storm throws a strike but Bent rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Storm is striking from the bottom but Bent uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Heavy Storm dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Heavy Storm's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!



Bent rushes Storm and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bent lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Bent breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bent lands a slapping body shot.
Storm checks the leg kick.
Bent connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Storm moves out of range as Bent strikes.
Bent misses with a jab, cross combination.

Bent drops Storm with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Storm looks back up at him and smiles so Bent waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Storm moves away from the strike by Bent.
Storm stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bent.
Storm shoots in and drives through. Bent sprawls well.

Bent cracks Storm with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Storm looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bent finish him?


Storm is rocked!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Storm tries to clinch up.
Oh Storm is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jason Bent seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bent measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Storm! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Jason Bent!
