Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sparry McSubberton!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flanagen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Flanagen thows a huge punch but McSubberton dodges it nicely.
Flanagen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Flanagen landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
McSubberton slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

McSubberton has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Flanagen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Flanagen distracts McSubberton with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Flanagen lands a couple of digs.
Flanagen missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Flanagen trying to control the position from guard on top but McSubberton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Flanagen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

McSubberton is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Flanagen tries to free his leg and advance position but McSubberton is retaining full guard.
Flanagen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

McSubberton pushes a forearm under Flanagen's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Flanagen is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
