Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chael Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Sinistra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vinnie Sinistra told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sonnen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sinistra quickly recovers to half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Sonnen is looking to take a break and control but Sinistra is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Sinistra has momentary wrist control but Sonnen slips an elbow through the middle.
Sonnen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Sinistra has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Sonnen doesn't defend quickly enough and Sinistra has managed to lock this one up! Can Sonnen escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Sinistra on a fantastic submission victory.
