The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Do Nascimento circles away.
Do Nascimento uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A right-left combo lands from Do Nascimento.
Silva throws a leg kick that misses.
Do Nascimento takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Do Nascimento scores with a nice right hand.
Do Nascimento shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Silva takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Do Nascimento throws a front kick aimed at Silva's knee but Silva avoids it well.
Silva tries to clinch there but Do Nascimento circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silva throws a leg kick but Do Nascimento sees it coming and moves out of range.
Silva wants to clinch up but Do Nascimento keeps it at a distance.
Silva cracks a nice hook into Do Nascimento's ribs.

Do Nascimento closes the distance and clinches.
Silva fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Silva tries to land knees in the clinch but Do Nascimento avoids the damage to the body.

Silva throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Do Nascimento blocks it with crossed arms.

It looks like Sinao Silva has been cut.
Do Nascimento lands a heavy elbow.

That has opened up Sinao Silva's cut even more.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Do Nascimento cracks Silva with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The cut above Sinao Silva's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sinao Silva's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
