Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Borovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jiraiya Hayate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borovsky comes to the cage accompanied by Rage Against the Machine - The Ghost of Tom Joad. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ivan Borovsky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jiraiya Hayate! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Borovsky or perhaps it was just good defense by Hayate which made him look bad. Hayate throws a sloppy head kick and Borovsky moves out of range easily. Hayate fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Hayate throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hayate lands with a thumping leg kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hayate. Borovsky sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Ivan Borovsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Borovsky tries for a takedown but Hayate sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hayate feints and then cracks Borovsky's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Borovsky down. Borovsky fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Borovsky. That's going to take a lot out of him. Borovsky sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Hayate scores with a leg kick.
Hayate should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Hayate lands a nice leg kick that just misses Borovsky's sensitive parts. Borovsky fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That kick from Hayate tenderised Borovsky's leg. Borovsky is trying to keep his angry face on. Borovsky with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hayate to score with a decent uppercut. Hayate scores with a spinning back kick! Borovsky has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hayate.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hayate throws a quick inside leg kick. Borovsky shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hayate defends it nicely. Borovsky shoots in for a double leg but Hayate sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hayate lands with a slapping head kick. Borovsky bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Borovsky in side control, throwing shots but Hayate defends. Borovsky trying to control the action but Hayate is working from the bottom. Hayate is pushing Borovsky's head away, looking to escape. Borovsky manages to hold on to the position though. Borovsky wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hayate keeps working. Borovsky working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hayate on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Borovsky tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Hayate dodges the ground and pound from Borovsky. Borovsky is chipping away with strikes.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hayate can do anything to dispel that myth. Borovsky throws a strike aimed at the side of Hayate's head but Hayate avoids it well. Borovsky working the ground and pound.
It looks like Jiraiya Hayate has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Borovsky is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hayate has escaped the position, nice work there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Check out the look on Borovsky's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Hayate is rocked! Borovsky lands a huge shot from side control! Hayate is out cold! This one is all over!
