Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tessenji Fuuhaku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nemean Athos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Athos is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Thundercats. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tessenji Fuuhaku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nemean Athos!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Athos.
Athos takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Fuuhaku stuns Athos with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Athos moves in looking to clinch but Fuuhaku pushes him off.
Athos throws an overhand right that lands on Fuuhaku's shoulder, as Fuuhaku tries to avoid the shot.
Fuuhaku throws a shot from downtown. Athos moves away and avoids it.

Fuuhaku gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Athos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fuuhaku swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Athos on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Athos fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Fuuhaku is out of range.

Fuuhaku takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Athos throws a low kick but Fuuhaku moves out of range easily.

Athos closes the distance looking to clinch
and Fuuhaku counters with a nice kick to the body.
Tessenji Fuuhaku is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Fuuhaku tries to sprawl but Athos drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Fuuhaku is trying to get back to full guard.

Athos is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fuuhaku sees it coming and defends easily.
Athos is controlling the pace.
Fuuhaku is staying active underneath Athos, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Nemean Athos will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Some bone on bone action there as Athos checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Fuuhaku thows a body shot but no joy.
Athos has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fuuhaku.

Athos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fuuhaku paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Athos counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Athos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Athos takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fuuhaku lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Athos has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Athos and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Fuuhaku fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Athos.

Athos closes the distance and pushes Fuuhaku back into the cage.
Fuuhaku misses with a hook to the ribs.
Fuuhaku looking to throw knees to the head but Athos is blocking nicely.
Athos lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Athos drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Fuuhaku gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Athos is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Athos is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fuuhaku pulls him back up using the underhooks.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Athos walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Athos is looking to control Fuuhaku's arms but Fuuhaku gets an underhook and turns him. Now Athos has his back to the cage.

Athos has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Fuuhaku finds it's way round the side to connect with Athos's head.
Athos swings for the body but Fuuhaku moves out of range.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tessenji Fuuhaku showed his dominance in that final round.
