PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gavin Huber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen DANZIG (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huber comes to the cage accompanied by Boom Boom Pow. DANZIG has chosen blood as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huber throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
DANZIG steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Huber.
Huber throws a big shot that misses.

DANZIG shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Well, if DANZIG is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
DANZIG is tying to control. Huber wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
DANZIG trying to mount his opponent but Huber defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Huber misses with some strikes from the bottom.
DANZIG thows a huge punch but Huber dodges it nicely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Huber throws a lazy right hand but DANZIG sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Huber has his takedown stuffed

and DANZIG counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Huber thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Huber pushes DANZIG off and scrambles back to his feet.

DANZIG controls Huber momentarily but Huber frees himself.

DANZIG has his foot on Huber's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Huber works his way back into a safe position though.

DANZIG working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Huber doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Huber manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and DANZIG counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Huber!
Huber wants to try and get back to his feet.
Huber is in all sorts of trouble here.

DANZIG breaks from Huber's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Huber tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Huber is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
DANZIG manages to capitalize on a mistake by Huber to take his back!

DANZIG is trying to stick to Huber's back but Huber is turning into DANZIG. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in DANZIG's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Huber.

DANZIG has his feet on Huber's thighs here. He's pushed Huber off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Huber screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
