Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haluk Sevim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sevim has chosen Enter Shikari-Gandhi Mate, Ghandi as his entrance music. Haluk Sevim told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Haluk Sevim!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sevim throws a leg kick
and Parker counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Parker lands with a good body shot.
Parker with a nice cross.
Parker moves out of range as Sevim throws a body kick.
Parker throws a series of punches but Sevim moves out of range.
Sevim misses with a head kick.
Parker blocks a jab.
Haluk Sevim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parker scores with a shot to the body.
Parker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sevim looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Parker jabs at Sevim's body.
Sevim rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Parker counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Haluk Sevim has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Parker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sevim looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sevim misses with a low kick as Parker jumps back.
Parker on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Parker throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Sevim misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sevim thows a leg kick but Parker checks it
and Parker counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sevim thinking.
Sevim looks gassed!

Parker lands a left and a right that send Sevim crashing to the mat, dazed. Parker thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Sevim is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Parker has cracked Sevim with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Parker lands another huge swinging hook and Sevim tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Sevim, before Parker can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Andrew Parker!
During a confident post fight interview, Andrew Parker thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
