The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fabio fails with a takedown attempt.
Fabio keeps the fight on the outside.

A slapping leg kick lands for Knight.
A good leg kick by Knight.
A solid leg kick lands there for Knight.
Knight tries to clinch but Fabio moves out of range.
Knight throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fabio throws a jab when Knight was well out of range.
Fabio shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Knight pinned against the cage. Knight gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Fabio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fabio misses the shot to the body.
A head kick from Knight lands but Fabio takes it in his stride.

It looks like Andre Fabio has been cut.
Fabio throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Knight's waist but Knight gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fabio off to one side.
Knight throws a head kick but Fabio moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Knight looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Knight backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Fabio's temple! It sends Fabio violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Knight celebrates and the doctors try to help Fabio!
