Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lawrence Uranium (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timur Rod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lawrence Uranium has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rod with a poor takedown
and Uranium counters with a three punch combo that has Rod backing up. Rod nods at Uranium to acknowledge the strikes.
Uranium throws a series of strikes that have Rod backpedaling.

It looks like Timur Rod has been cut.
Rod wants to clinch
and Uranium counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Uranium circles away from the clinch attempt.

Uranium steps into range and cracks Rod with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Rod flops backwards and Uranium dives into his guard looking to finish!

Rod is rocked!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Uranium slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Uranium wants to pass the guard but Rod is keeping the position.
Uranium seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Uranium stands up and waves to Rod to follow him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rod tries to clinch up.
Uranium lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Uranium connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Rod shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Uranium is trying to defend but Rod finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Uranium makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rod takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Uranium takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

That has opened up Timur Rod's cut even more.
Rod looks gassed!
Uranium grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Rod takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Uranium cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
