The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lepri is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Lepri tries to clinch but Mensah moves out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lepri.
Lepri is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mensah sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Mensah fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lepri on the side of the head.
Lepri has a takedown stuffed.
Kenneth Mensah has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Lepri.
Lepri takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mensah lands a leg kick that knocks Lepri off balance momentarily.

Lepri gets caught napping as Mensah dives in and scores a takedown. Lepri manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Mensah wants to control from the top but Lepri keeps moving.

Lepri has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mensah can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mensah has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Lepri to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mensah is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Lepri pulls down on the head and he's put Mensah to sleep! This one is all over!
