Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pivo Salamander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Bornemann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pivo Salamander has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bornemann shoots in looking for a takedown. Salamander tries to sprawl out of it but Bornemann keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Salamander manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Salamander closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bornemann to the mat! Bornemann manages to get full guard.

Bornemann had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Salamander is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bornemann Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Salamander's back instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Salamander has his foot on Bornemann 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bornemann works his way back into a safe position though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
