Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Henry Six (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Trik Turner - Friends and Family kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Freddy Alves!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Six ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Alves stuffs the takedown attempt from Six. Six gets slowly back to his feet.

Six throws out a loose jab but Alves uses good head movement to avoid it.

The referee asks Six politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Six prefers to stall for the moment though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Henry Six.
Well Alves has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
