Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyrian Valnera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, James McCorcke!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCorcke throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Valnera counters with a nice low kick that buckles McCorcke's knee momentarily.
McCorcke looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
McCorcke tries to bum rush Valnera with a series of wild strikes but Valnera uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Valnera dives in and scores a takedown into McCorcke's guard.
Valnera looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Valnera is pushing down on McCorcke's leg trying to pass to half guard. McCorcke is fighting to maintain full guard but Valnera has managed to sneak the leg through.
Valnera trying to control the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tyrian Valnera.

Valnera shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Valnera controls from within his opponent's guard.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Valnera stands and throws McCorcke's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Valnera advances to full mount.

Valnera stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Valnera drops McCorcke with a left right combo! Valnera follows him down to the ground into side control.


McCorcke is rocked!


It looks like James McCorcke has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Valnera looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
McCorcke is still in real trouble! Can Valnera finish him?
Valnera is staying tight to McCorcke's torso, preventing him from escaping.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Valnera decides to take the fight back to the feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Valnera.
McCorcke seems to have recovered his senses.

Valnera bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops McCorcke! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyrian Valnera dominated that round.
The cut man is working on James McCorcke's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Valnera throws a right hand that McCorcke ducks under and follows up with a left that McCorcke also avoids with ease.

Valnera decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Valnera is figuring out what he wants to do next.

McCorcke is defending against the submission attempts here by Valnera.
Valnera content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
McCorcke is breathing heavily.

Valnera stands up and beckons McCorcke to join him on the feet.

Valnera scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Tyrian Valnera overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Valnera looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Valnera is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McCorcke can do to turn this around?
Valnera takes a little break here. McCorcke wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Valnera advances to mount.
Valnera takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

McCorcke is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Valnera has taken his back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Valnera is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged McCorcke with him. McCorcke is trying to defend but Valnera has an arm under the chin now! McCorcke grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tyrian Valnera!
