Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanko Velilkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steele is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lil Wayne-Drop the World. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Both fighters circling a little - Velilkov finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Velilkov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Velilkov stalks Steele and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Steele's face. Steele staggers backwards, shaken.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Velilkov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Steele sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Velilkov throws a hook to the side of Steele's head but Steele sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Steele is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Velilkov.

Steele throws the left hand but Velilkov avoids the punch easily.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Velilkov here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Steele paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Steele is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Velilkov like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Velilkov from another fist facial!

Ben Steele decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
