Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres's entrance music is Old Way's. A fine choice. Blaze has chosen John Blaze - Fat Joe Ft. Nas, Big Pun, Raekwon as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Johnny Blaze!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres shoots for a double leg takedown but Blaze sprawls well. He's pushed Torres's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Torres shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blaze as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miguel Torres. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blaze throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Torres misses with a takedown attempt - Blaze sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Blaze connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Torres momentarily.

Torres shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Blaze napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Torres lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Blaze down.
Torres has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Blaze is trying to control Torres's posture but Torres avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blaze is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Torres really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blaze is looking to reverse the position.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Torres is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Blaze is defending well though. Torres let's go of the attempt for now.
I really don't envy Blaze right now.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Blaze has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
