Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tota Liddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josip Ruzic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruzic pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ruzic misses with an attempted mid kick.
Ruzic connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Liddel walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Liddel looks to land a body kick but Ruzic moved away.

A looping hook to the body misses from Ruzic. Liddel does a little dance to reset his feet.
Liddel fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ruzic has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Ruzic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ruzic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Liddel tries to avoid it but Ruzic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Liddel to the ground. Liddel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Liddel uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ruzic.

Ruzic lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Liddel down.

Liddel takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Josip Ruzic is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Ruzic goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Liddel rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ruzic's guard! Nice work there by Liddel!

Josip Ruzic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ruzic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
