PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and La Dicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spencer comes into the arena with Won't Back Down by Tom Petty blaring out of the sound system. Dicks has chosen Avicii 'Levels' Skrillex Remix as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Spencer has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Dicks is trying to keep an underhook but Spencer manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Spencer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dicks has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Spencer has managed to get both his arms back between Dicks's legs - danger averted.

Spencer takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Spencer is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Spencer connects with a nice short shot to Dicks's temple.

Dicks tries to reverse the position but Spencer maintains control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Spencer is posturing up here but Dicks has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Spencer tries to roll out but it's too tight and Spencer has to tap! Slick submission there by Dicks!
