Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Christ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johua Nashigon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ shoots in looking for a takedown but Nashigon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Christ's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Christ drives through and clinches with Nashigon against the cage.

Christ breaks from the clinch.
Nashigon takes a kick to the side of the head.
Nashigon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Christ counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nashigon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Christ avoids it really well and circles away.
Christ gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Christ fails to land with a series of punches.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Christ lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Nashigon slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Christ stands up from Nashigon's guard - Christ perhaps looking for a knockout.

Christ throws a front kick that sends Nashigon stumbling back into the cage.
Nashigon tries to clinch but Christ moves out of range.
Christ tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nashigon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Christ somewhat.

Nashigon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Christ but Christ pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Horrible takedown by Nashigon or perhaps it was just good defense by Christ which made him look bad.

Christ digs a right hand into Nashigon's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Nashigon's gas tank.

Nashigon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Christ is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Christ shoots in looking for a takedown. Nashigon tries to sprawl out of it but Christ keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nashigon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Christ shoots in but Nashigon avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Nashigon shoots in but no luck this time.

Nashigon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Christ holds on to Nashigon's head and controls the position momentarily.
Nashigon wants to stand but Christ has his arm trapped.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jesus Christ.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Christ, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
