Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Lazzarino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicholis Nabavian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nabavian swats away the attempt to clinch by Lazzarino.

Lazzarino moves into the clinch successfully.

Nabavian has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Lazzarino is trying to keep an underhook but Nabavian manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Nabavian wants to work for an arm triangle but Lazzarino is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Nabavian is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Nabavian is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Nabavian passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lazzarino!

Nabavian is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lazzarino can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Nabavian wants to finish this one by submission but Lazzarino is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nabavian.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nabavian goes for an armbar but Lazzarino turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Lazzarino.

Lazzarino is sitting in close to Nabavian's body. Nabavian has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Lazzarino is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Lazzarino is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Nabavian.
