The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camren avoids the head kick by Mario.
Camren fails to land with a series of punches.
Camren misses with a body shot
and Mario counters with an inside leg kick.
Mario slaps away a takedown attempt from Camren, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mario pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mario looks for the body kick but Camren saw that one coming.
Randy Camren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Camren throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mario's waist but Mario gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Camren off to one side.
Camren shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mario as he jumps to the side.

Camren looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Camren seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Camren seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mario for as long as he can get away with.

Camren wants to free his trapped foot but Mario is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Camren is looking for a kimura here.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Camren in particular looking to stall.
Camren is looking to take a break and control but Mario is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Mario keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Mario tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mario leaves Camren with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Camren dives in and grabs Mario's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mario pushes down on Camren's head and hops out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Camren misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Camren shoots in but no luck this time.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mario walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Camren checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
