The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Blaze fails to land with a series of punches.
Jacobs lands a glancing blow to the side of Blaze's head.
Jacobs moves into range and connects with a jab.
The fighters circling - Jacobs throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Blaze misses with a wild combination.

Jacobs is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jacobs tries for a takedown but Blaze sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tyson Blaze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Some bone on bone action there as Blaze checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jacobs connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Blaze momentarily.
Jacobs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blaze but Blaze pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Jacobs counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jacobs fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Blaze throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Blaze slips a straight right by Jacobs.
Jacobs throws a hook but Blaze blocks it.
Blaze throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Blaze lands a nice hook to Jacobs's body. Jacobs takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Blaze takes a swing at Jacobs's ribcage but misses.
Jacobs shoots in for a takedown but Blaze shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Blaze jabs Jacobs to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Blaze shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jacobs eats them both and turns towards Blaze to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Jacobs is rocked!

It looks like Jimmy Jacobs has been cut.
Blaze moves out of range as Jacobs strikes.
Jacobs is still on wobbly legs! Can Blaze finish him?

Blaze instigates a clinch.

Blaze lands with a right to the head.
Blaze cracks Jacobs with a nice body shot.

Jacobs tries to work over Blaze's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Jacobs swings wildly with an uppercut but Blaze uses good head movement to avoid it.

Blaze cracks Jacobs with a nice body shot.
Blaze scores with a shoulder strike.

Blaze lands with a left to the head.

Blaze breaks the clinch.
Blaze circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Jacobs tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Blaze wins by KO!
