Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jason Hitman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Phil Phillips! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Phillips swats away the attempt to clinch by Hitman. Phillips tries to bum rush Hitman with a series of wild strikes but Hitman uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Phillips scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Hitman takes a shot right to the bread basket. A looping hook to the body misses from Hitman. Phillips does a little dance to reset his feet. No joy there for Phillips, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Phillips displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Phillips slips a jab from Hitman. A left and a right from Phillips both land. Nice combination.
Hitman is rocked! Hitman shoots in and gets a takedown into Phillips's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Phillips is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hitman is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hitman with a flurry of punches that miss. Hitman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hitman landing with the ground and pound. Phillips looks gassed! Phillips preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Phillips working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hitman.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hitman is stalling in the full guard. Hitman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hitman wants to control from the top but Phillips keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hitman works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hitman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Phillips is just riding it out for now. Hitman eventually gives up the hold. Hitman is working for a kimura but Phillips is defending it quite comfortably.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hitman uses his free foot to push down on Phillips's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Phillips. Hitman scores with a couple of good head shots there.
It looks like Phil Phillips has been cut. Hitman controlling from mount. Phillips is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Hitman locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Phillips is forced to tap!
