The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mies slips a straight right by Treimanis.
Treimanis throws a jab but it's blocked by Mies.
Treimanis tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Treimanis motions for Mies to come forward. Treimanis throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Treimanis fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mies has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Treimanis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mies.

A bone on bone clash there as Treimanis blocks the leg kick.
Treimanis lands a nice hook to Mies's body. Mies takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mies has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Mies throws a hook but Treimanis blocks it.
A slow jab from Treimanis misses its intended target.
Mies connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Treimanis checks a low kick from Mies.

Mies looks to score with a jab to the body but Treimanis is just out of range.
Treimanis fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mies is out of range.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Treimanis, right into the meat.

Mies looks gassed!
Treimanis is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mies throws the left hand but Treimanis avoids the punch easily.
Treimanis drops Mies with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mies looks back up at him and smiles so Treimanis waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Mies is rocked!
It looks like Miesten Mies has been cut.
Treimanis throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Mies is still on wobbly legs! Can Treimanis finish him?
Treimanis throws a powerful right kick. Mies tried to block low but the kick was high! Mies was taken right off of his feet! Treimanis jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
