The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aumar shoots in looking for a takedown but Hawkin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Aumar's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hawkin goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Elminster Aumar has been cut.
Aumar closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hawkin circles away.
Aumar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hawkin but Hawkin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Stephen Hawkin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elminster Aumar.
Aumar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hawkin pinned against the cage. Hawkin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Hawkin pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Aumar back to the cage. Hawkin follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Hawkin.
Hawkin throws a nice inside leg kick.

Hawkin lands a big head kick that sends Aumar tumbling to the mat! Hawkin takes a step backwards and waves Aumar back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Aumar leaves his chin hanging out and Hawkin seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Aumar crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Stephen Hawkin decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
