The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom gets the takedown into side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hansen is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Boom tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Boom is looking to take a break and control but Hansen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hansen is trying to improve his position.
Hansen is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Boom off and has taken his back!
Hansen lands shots from the back.
Hansen somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.

Boom covering up well under a series of strikes from Hansen.

Boom turns into Hansen and is now in his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boom looking to sit in guard and control but Hansen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Boom working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hansen.

Boom is pulling down on Hansen's head. It's preventing any offense from Hansen, at least for the moment.
Hansen stands up from Boom's guard - Hansen perhaps looking for a knockout.

Boom is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hansen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hansen lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hansen.
Hansen slaps away a takedown attempt from Boom, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Boom tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hansen fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Boom Boom has been cut.
Hansen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Hansen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hansen wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boom Boom. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boom shoots in for a takedown but Hansen shows good takedown defense.
Boom is breathing heavily.
Boom slips a jab and a cross from Hansen.
Hansen misses with a kick to the body.

Hansen dips to his left and cracks Boom with an uppercut!
Boom moves into range and clinches up with Hansen.
Hansen tries a knee to the head but Boom blocks it.
Boom goes for a takedown attempt but Hansen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Boom gets tackled into the cage by Hansen. Hansen maintains the clinch.
Hansen breaks from the clinch.
Boom checks a leg kick.
Hansen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Boom napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Hansen lands some shots froms side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boom wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Hansen tries to move into full mount but can't pass Boom's legs.
Hansen stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Boom looks for a takedown but Hansen sprawls well.
Boom tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hansen lands a big head kick that sends Boom tumbling to the mat! Hansen takes a step backwards and waves Boom back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Boom is rocked!
The fight stays on the outside here - Boom looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Oh Boom is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hansen drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Boom right on the button. Boom goes down! Hansen follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Hansen gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Krabbe Hansen!
