The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dowd throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Dowd checks a leg kick.
Dowd connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Dowd scores with a nice strike.

Zero closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Zero lands in his opponent's guard.

Zero drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Zero seems to have locked his on tight now - Dowd screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Zero, as he picks up the win!
