Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Eriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eriksson comes to the cage accompanied by Mastodon - Curl of the Burl. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Mikael Eriksson has been cut.
Rodrigues works the jab nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rodrigues rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Eriksson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rodrigues lands a right hook to the body.
Eriksson shoots in for a takedown but Rodrigues shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Eriksson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rodrigues but Rodrigues pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Eriksson shoots in looking for a takedown but Rodrigues manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Eriksson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikael Eriksson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rodrigues connects with a body shot.
Rodrigues closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Eriksson shoots in but Rodrigues avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Eriksson is breathing heavily.
Rodrigues stuffs the takedown.
Rodrigues cracks Eriksson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Eriksson is rocked!
Rodrigues connects with a nice cross there... Eriksson is looking wobbly and Rodrigues recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Eriksson to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Rodrigues jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
