Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Per Saukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Plant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Plant comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Au innebunit salcamii kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Per Saukko has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Per Saukko seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saukko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Saukko avoids a kick to the body.

Plant closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Plant creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Per Saukko has been cut.
With the fighters up against the cage, Plant throws an elbow but misses.
Saukko struggles to land a body shot inside as Plant controls his hands.
Plant has Saukko pressed against the cage, preventing Saukko from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Saukko gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Plant escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Saukko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Saukko controls from within his opponent's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Plant looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Plant keeping moving, preventing Saukko from controlling successfully.
Saukko slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Per Saukko has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Saukko throws a hook to the side of Plant's head but Plant sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Saukko scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

A jab lands there for Saukko.
Saukko throws a hook but Plant blocks it.
Saukko connects with a solid leg kick.
A swing and a miss from Plant.
Saukko works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Donk. Saukko catches Plant right on the button with a cross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Saukko avoids the body shot from Plant.
Plant misses with a wild combination.
Plant wants to clinch up but Saukko keeps it at a distance.
Nice straight punches there by Plant. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Plant.
Plant avoids a punch combination nicely.
Saukko lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Saukko shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Plant is trying to defend but Saukko finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Saukko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Plant does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Plant keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Saukko works his foot free and advances to mount.
Saukko breaks from Plant's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Saukko tries to control but Plant wriggling away.
Plant tries to hold on but Saukko pushes him away.
Saukko trying to control but Plant is having none of it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Plant is in all sorts of trouble here.

Plant seems to have recovered his senses.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Saukko! Plant is hurt baaadly! Saukko is firing away with more strikes - Plant is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
