Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia slaps away a takedown attempt from Tyler, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Garcia manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tyler on his heels. He'll look to pass Tyler's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Tyler isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Garcia stacks Tyler on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Garcia !

Tyler throws a hook to the side of Garcia 's head but Garcia sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Tyler is looking for a choke. Garcia gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Garcia manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

Tyler shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Garcia as he jumps to the side.
Tyler takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
