Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dravik Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silva Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Warrior- Disturbed. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dravik Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Silva Santiago! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santiago changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Stone tries to buck Santiago off but Santiago is having none of it. Stone is working hard here to advance position. Santiago lands some shots froms side control. You can see the frustration on Stone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Stone tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Santiago wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Santiago advances to full mount. Santiago moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Stone has worked his arm free - good work by Stone!
Stone regains half guard. Stone is trying to maintain the position but Santiago is very close to passing his half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stone misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Stone wants to control but Santiago passes into side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santiago tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Santiago wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stone keeps working. Stone is trying to control Santiago's posture but Santiago avoids it. Stone tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Santiago easily slips into full mount! Stone is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Stone gets back to half guard. Stone looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Santiago is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stone has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santiago wants to work for an arm triangle but Stone is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Stone is trying to control but can't.
Stone is looking to improve his position.
Stone looking for a kimura from the bottom but Santiago passes into side control! Santiago grinds an elbow into Stone's temple. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Santiago is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stone is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Stone is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Santiago's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santiago looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Santiago tries to pass to full mount but Stone defends it. Stone gets full guard. Santiago trying to control but Stone is working from the bottom. Stone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Santiago gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Santiago stands up over Stone, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Santiago is stalling in the full guard. Stone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Santiago can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Stone throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Santiago lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Stone is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Silva Santiago will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Stone tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Santiago manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Stone gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Santiago to score an easy takedown into full guard. Santiago trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Santiago drops back looking for a leg! Stone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stone manages to kick Santiago off! Santiago jumps back into Stone's guard. Stone controls Santiago momentarily but Santiago frees himself. Stone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Santiago can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Santiago drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stone manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Santiago has Stone in his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Santiago is keeping the position for now. Stone is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Santiago is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Santiago has escaped and now he's on top! Santiago got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Santiago has managed to get both his arms back between Stone's legs - danger averted. Santiago landing some decent shots from guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone controls Santiago momentarily but Santiago frees himself. Stone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Santiago doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Santiago manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Santiago throws a big right hand that misses. Stone looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Santiago passes into half guard.
Stone tries to roll over but Santiago keeps him under control. Santiago is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Santiago is keen to just control but Stone is a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone is trying to maintain the position but Santiago is very close to passing his half guard. Stone looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Santiago is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Santiago seems to be working for a kimura but Stone defends the submission attempt. Stone throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Santiago is looking to get to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stone throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Santiago because Stone loaded up on that one. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dravik Stone will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Stone darts in trying to clinch and Santiago decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stone's guard. Stone keeping moving, preventing Santiago from controlling successfully. Stone looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Santiago working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Santiago accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Stone keeping full guard, as Santiago tries to pass. Stone looking for a sweep. Not yet Stone, not yet. Santiago wants to control from the top but Stone keeps moving.

Stone is trying to control the position but Santiago postures up. Stone looking for a guillotine here but Santiago defends easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Santiago looking to improve position, pressing down on Stone's thigh with his hand. Stone seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Santiago paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Santiago's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Stone picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
