Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Finch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luiz Cane!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cane circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cane will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Finch wants to clinch up but Cane keeps it at a distance.
Finch lands a head kick. Cane smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Finch gets the takedown into side control.
Cane connects with an elbow from the bottom.
Finch avoids the strikes from the bottom by Cane.
Cane struggling a bit here.
Cane is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Finch controlling from side mount.
Cane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Cane is looking for a sweep.

Finch tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Cane regains half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Finch connects with a nice short shot to Cane's temple.
Cane works his way to full guard. Good work.
Cane keeping moving, preventing Finch from controlling successfully.

Finch gets to his feet. Cane looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Cane tries to clinch up.

Finch throws a jab but it's blocked by Cane.
Finch shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Cane counters with a nice double leg into side control. Finch won't be happy with that.
Finch is breathing heavily.
Cane scores with a couple of short elbows.
Cane looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Cane in side control, throwing shots but Finch defends.
Cane should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Finch is trying to get back to half guard.
Finch is working hard here to advance position.
Cane works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Finch is working to avoid the ground and pound but Cane connects with a decent elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cane landing strikes.
Cane throws a strike aimed at the side of Finch's head but Finch avoids it well.
Cane has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Finch is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Cane yanks on the arm and Finch is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Cane.
