Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hector Pelano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyu Won Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hector Pelano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pelano misses with a head kick.
Pelano lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Kyu Won Lee has been cut.
Lee wants to clinch up but Pelano keeps it at a distance.
Pelano shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A combination from Pelano does no damage.
A nice inside leg kick there by Pelano. That's going to slow Lee down.
Lee shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pelano's guard.
Lee loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pelano swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Pelano instigates a clinch.

Pelano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lee on the ground.

Lee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pelano as he avoids it easily.
Lee shoots in for a double leg but Pelano sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Lee shoots in and bounces Pelano off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pelano keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pelano jabs at Lee's body.
Lee with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pelano to score with a decent uppercut.

Pelano tries to keep at a distance but Lee has taken the fight into the clinch.

Lee jumps guard but Pelano stands there with Lee around his waist. Lee gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Lee takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Lee has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lee there as he acknowledges the shot.
Pelano misses with a series of wild punches.
Pelano tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lee shoots in for a double leg but Pelano sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Lee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pelano pinned against the cage. Pelano gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fight stays on the outside here - Pelano looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lee scores with a head kick. Pelano tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Pelano leaves Lee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Pelano throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lee.
Pelano displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lee.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pelano keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Pelano fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lee on the side of the head.
Lee takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Pelano works on Lee's body with a couple of short punches.
Pelano breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Lee counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lee.

Lee is rocked!
Pelano lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Lee goes down and covers up as Pelano starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
