PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Safdar Al Razi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nolan Caswell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caswell is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Somebody that i used to know. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Razi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Al Razi throws a push kick but Caswell slaps the foot to one side.
Al Razi throws a leg kick that is checked

and Caswell counters with a single leg into guard. Al Razi didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Al Razi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Caswell working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Caswell avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Caswell trying to control but Al Razi is working from the bottom.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Al Razi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Caswell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Caswell manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Caswell throws a big elbow that misses.

Al Razi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Al Razi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Caswell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Caswell in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Caswell working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Al Razi's head.

Caswell has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Al Razi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Caswell is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Al Razi pulls down on the head and he's put Caswell to sleep! This one is all over!
