Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hugh Pucci!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pucci thows a left - swing and a miss!
Pucci tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Good standup being displayed there by Pucci as he connects with a hook.
Taylor throws a leg kick which misses Pucci's front leg but catches the back leg as Pucci tries to avoid it.
Taylor looks to land a combination but Pucci avoids it well.
Pucci takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Taylor lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pucci backs up against the cage.


It looks like Hugh Pucci has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pucci avoids the head kick by Taylor.
Taylor throws a right hand that Pucci ducks under and follows up with a left that Pucci also avoids with ease.
Pucci rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Taylor moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pucci blocks a jab.
Taylor lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pucci's sensitive parts.
Pucci throws a right hand that Taylor ducks under and follows up with a left that Taylor also avoids with ease.
Pucci throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Taylor.
Pucci avoids the head kick by Taylor.
Taylor throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Pucci gets tackled into the cage by Taylor. Taylor maintains the clinch.
Taylor tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Taylor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Taylor closes the distance and pushes Pucci back into the cage.
Pucci avoids a wild elbow strike from Taylor.

Taylor breaks the clinch.
Taylor throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Taylor throws a nice head kick!
Pucci swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Taylor has closed the distance and engaged Pucci in a clinch.
Taylor lands an elbow that stopped Pucci in his tracks for a moment.
Taylor lands a nice knee to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That has opened up Hugh Pucci's cut even more.

Taylor putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Pucci in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Taylor breaks the clinch.
Taylor lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Taylor rushes Pucci and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Taylor lands an elbow inside.
Taylor using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Pucci has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Pucci walks forward, straight into a front kick from Taylor.

Taylor throws a nice outside leg kick.
Taylor throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Taylor has managed to clinch.
Taylor unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Taylor scores with a knee to the head.


The cut above Hugh Pucci's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Taylor with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Taylor is struggling to control the position.
Taylor connects with a knee to the head.

Taylor breaks the clinch.

Taylor closes the distance and pushes Pucci back into the cage.
Taylor looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Taylor gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Taylor crunches a lovely knee into Pucci's ribcage.
Taylor stalls.
Taylor seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Taylor lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!


Hugh Pucci's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Taylor breaks the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Taylor closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Taylor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pucci lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Taylor backs up against the cage.
Taylor shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pucci eats them both and turns towards Taylor to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Taylor dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hugh Pucci's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hugh Pucci's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). James Taylor!
James Taylor decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
