PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Do Me (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samsung Wave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Me comes to the cage accompanied by Do Re Me. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wave catches Me with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

It looks like Do Me has been cut.
Nice body punch from Me.
Me takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Wave misses with a body shot.
Do Me seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Me connects with a body shot that sends Wave's belly button to the back.
Me throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wave sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fighters circling - Me throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wave takes a jab right on the kisser.
Wave gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Me.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wave takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Wave misses with a straight right.
Wave throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Me takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Wave throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Me lands a nice looking body shot.
Samsung Wave is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Me misses the jab.
Wave throws a hook but Me blocks it.
Wave looks to score with a jab to the body but Me is just out of range.
Wave avoids the body shot from Me.
Me throws a shot from downtown. Wave moves away and avoids it.

Me throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wave. Me does a little dance to reset his feet.
Me slips under a jab from Wave.
Me's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Wave connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Me scrambles back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wave works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Wave moves away from the strike by Me.
Me keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wave.
Me fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Me looks to land a left hand but Wave moved out of range nicely.
The fighters circle momentarily. Me darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Wave lands with an overhand left.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wave misses with a body shot.
Me shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wave sprawls well. Wave wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Me gets slowly back to his feet.
Me will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Do Me. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wave fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Me shoots in and drives through. Wave sprawls well.
Wave displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Me throws out the jab.
Wave lands a nice looking body shot.
Wave thows a body shot but no joy.
Me thows a body shot but no joy.

Wave drops Me with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Me looks back up at him and smiles so Wave waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Me is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Me tries to get into range but Wave steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Me! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Wave scores the big KO victory!
