Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Kickass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davidson has chosen Moonlight Sonata as his entrance music. Adam Davidson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kickass is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kickass fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kickass takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kickass fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Davidson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Davidson gets tackled into the cage by Kickass. Kickass maintains the clinch.
Kickass is working for takedown but Davidson is calmly controlling the position for now.

Kickass escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Davidson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kickass throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Davidson's waist but Davidson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kickass off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Kickass. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Davidson closes the distance and clinches.
Kickass using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Davidson has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Kickass has Davidson pressed against the cage, preventing Davidson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Kickass is trying hard to land a takedown here. Davidson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Davidson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kickass has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Davidson doesn't defend quickly enough and Kickass has managed to lock this one up! Can Davidson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kickass on a fantastic submission victory.
