The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puno throws a push kick but Moses slaps the foot to one side.
Moses uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Puno.
Puno throws a combination. Moses tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Moses has a takedown stuffed.
Puno steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Moses.
A jab from Moses misses.
Puno throws a jab but it's blocked by Moses.
Moses avoids the head kick by Puno.
Puno throws a wild body kick that Moses sees coming a mile off.
A right-left combo lands from Puno.
Good work by Moses as he checks the leg kick.
Moses could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Puno swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Moses takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Kajun Puno is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Puno with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Moses shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Puno is trying to defend but Moses finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Moses thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Moses lands a nice short elbow.
