Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Golden Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudell Crim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crim is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Go To Sleep B1TCH!. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

With a record of 17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Rudell Crim!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crim tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Boy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Crim's waist but Crim gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Boy off to one side.
Golden Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boy misses with a takedown attempt - Crim sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Crim blocks a head kick by Boy.
Boy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Crim is fending him off so far but Boy persists. Nope, Crim circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Golden Boy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Crim bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Crim throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Boy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Crim is in Boy's guard.
Crim wants to get up but he can't break Boy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boy looking for a sweep. Not yet Boy, not yet.
Crim wants to stand but Boy is controlling his posture from full guard.

Boy trying to control the position.
Boy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Crim wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Boy is working for a kimura here but Crim manages to reverse the position and he's now in Boy's guard.
Crim tries to stand but Boy is controlling from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Crim can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Boy is pulling down on Crim's head. It's preventing any offense from Crim, at least for the moment.

Crim gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Boy gets caught napping as Crim dives in and scores a takedown. Boy manages to retain guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Boy controls Crim momentarily but Crim frees himself.
Crim would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Boy pulls Crim in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Golden Boy wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Crim has managed to clinch.
Crim lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Crim creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Boy has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Crim after a bit of a struggle.

Crim works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Crim gets through Boy's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Crim makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

enabling Crim to counter with a crisp jab.
Boy misses with a shot to the body
and Crim counters with a three punch combo that has Boy backing up. Boy nods at Crim to acknowledge the strikes.
Boy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Crim swivels and escapes.

Crim closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Crim lands in his opponent's guard.

Crim stands and steps away. Boy gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Crim lands a glancing blow to the side of Boy's head.
Crim's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Crim duly obliges.

Boy takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Boy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crim sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boy somewhat.
Boy gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Crim decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Crim lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Crim scores with a punch to the head.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Boy. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Crim throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Boy's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Crim dives in looking to finish as Boy flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Crim's strikes! Crim is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Boy's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Boy was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
