Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damian Maya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takahiro Tamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maya comes to the cage accompanied by Spitfire. Tamura has chosen TaikOz as his entrance music. Takahiro Tamura has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maya tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tamura sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Maya somewhat.
Maya blocks a head kick by Tamura.
Tamura throws a leg kick but Maya sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Tamura bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Maya's head.
Maya is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tamura's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Maya is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Maya has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Tamura defend it? Maya steps over the head and cranks it - Tamura is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Maya!
